About iVention
iVention was founded in 2009 by a group of LIMS and ELN experts with the aim to develop a new Lab Automation platform based on the latest technological standards (including Web, Cloud and Mobile). iVention has since grown into an organization with more than 65 employees worldwide, consisting of a mix of highly trained and highly experienced consultants and Informatics experts.
About the iLES Plattform
iLES (iVention Lab Execution System) is a 100% web-based platform with full LIMS, ELN and SDMS functionalities. A user-friendly solution that is designed to support all the laboratory processes within your organization. The flexible entity model of iLES makes the system very suitable to efficiently automate both routine and non-routine (research) processes. iLES allows customers to fully comply with GxP standards, ISO 17025 and 21 CFR part 11 standards.
The functionalities of iLES range from project management to the control of instruments (bi-directional links), quality control, clinical trials, results processing, sample tracking, storage and stock management, monitoring of samples in the laboratory, work instructions, bar code scanning, document management, collaboration (portal), reporting, etc.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support iVention implementations leveraging strong project management skills, scientific expertise, and product knowledge. Own workstreams within large implementations, and lead smaller projects end to end.
- Work as part of an implementation team, owning project activities and deliverables for multiple concurrent implementations.
- Participate in requirements and design workshops, perform data modelling & application configuration, develop test plans and guide UAT execution, onboard and train users.
- Understand and document customers' scientific workflows to determine how iVention can best meet their key business needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor for customers, guiding them through the implementation ensuring they leverage and apply iVention Best Practices.
- Understand and document customer pain points, advocate for them internally to influence product changes.
- Develop and optimize enterprise training programs including written and video collateral creation.
ABOUT YOU
- BA/BAsc/BS or M.Sc. in Chemistry Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or similar field (Life Science).
- At least 2 years of experience in a lab or research setting. You must be able to empathize with scientists and quickly understand complicated scientific concepts.
- At least 1 year of prior Software Implementation or Client Services experience, preferably with a LIMS or ELN software company.
- Strong communication skills. You must be able to quickly and effectively connect with a range of stakeholders, including scientists, IT project leads, and executives.
- Self-starter with the ability to be successful in a start-up environment.
- Curious, creative, and tenacious. You should be excited to collaborate with customers and iVention team colleagues as a thought partner.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on customer and project needs.
- Strong digitalization understanding

iVention is building a world-class Professional Services team to drive implementations for our rapidly expanding customer base in the German speaking area (DACH). Implementation Consultants work with our customers, from small startups to large corporation in various industries.
You will leverage your scientific background, project management skills, and product expertise to support successful implementations of the iLES platform. Implementation Consultants work independently, as well as part of an implementation team who is responsible for all aspects of customer rollouts from requirements analysis and solution design, to configurations, testing, training, and onboarding users onto the system. You will work hand in hand with the scientists at our customers, and teams throughout iVention to implement our solutions, and ensure our customers are successful.
